Timmonsville, SC. Russell Barrett Anderson, Sr., 63, passed away on Friday August 20, 2021.

Graveside services will be Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Anderson was born in Timmonsville, SC, the son of the late John William and Jeanette Strickland Anderson.  He retired from the USDA-NRCS with 34 years of service as a Soil Conservation Technician.  He enjoyed working in his garden and driving his tractor.  Russell was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.

Surviving are his son, Barrett (Allyson) Anderson; daughter, Deana Broach; three brothers, William (Dena) Anderson, Jay (Diana) Anderson, Watson (Belinda) Anderson; sister, Lois (Lee) Kirby and his grandchildren, Chase Anderson, Emmy Anderson, Jessica McKay, Dylan McKay, and Caitlin McKay.
