Timmonsville, SC – Lee Roy Rodgers, 75, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022.

Graveside services will be Monday, Oct. 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manning, SC.  The family will have a time of visitation Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mr. Rodgers was born in Clarendon County, the son of the late Paul Henry Lee Rodgers and the late Ellen McCall .  He was retired from the Army with 22 years of service.  After retiring from the military, he began driving long distance trucks.  Lee enjoyed living in the country and watching the deer and birds at his home.

Surviving are three sisters, Mary Hagen, Lula Richards and Ann (Ralph) McKay and his nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Leon Rogers and two sisters, Ada Cramer and Tina Mixon.
