Rose Marie Huggins Sewell, 86, of Timmonsville, SC passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, March 15, 2021.   A memorial service will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton Anderson funeral home.   The family will visit with guest after the service. Rose Marie was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late M. B. Jr. and Hazel Jones Huggins.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and "nanny"  to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   She was a devoted wife to the late James R. "Sonny" Sewell for 66 years. They both loved performing in the Florence Little theater in their early years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her brothers Fred M. Huggins, M. B. "Sonny" Huggins III and a great great granddaughter Kacey Rose Thompson. Survivors include her sister, Kathy High; daughter, Suzanne Parker; grandchildren, Michael "Little Sonny" (Regina) Brown and Heather Marie       Obrien; great-grandchildren, Alyssa (Zack) Thompson, Andrew James Brown, Lanie Grace Brown, John Charles Obrien, Collin James Obrien and a great-great-granddaughter, Kaleighann Grace Thompson.
