Radcliff, KY – Rosa Cagle Powell,100, formerly of Florence, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015.

A graveside service will be Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Florence. The family will speak to those in attendance after the service at the cemetery.

Rosa was born in Troy, NC, the daughter of the late Harrison and Florence Cagle. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church of Florence. She was a nurse's aid at McLeod Infirmary, later she worked at the South Carolina Cripple Children's Home.

Surviving are two sons, Carroll (Carol Sue) Powell of Murrells Inlet, William (Lilliam) Powell, Costa Rica; grandson, Jesse (Kim) Durrance, Elizabethtown, KY and four great-grandchildren, Jessica, Mikayla, Corbin and Cameron Durrance. She is preceded in death by her children, LaVerne Powell, Tommy Powell and Betty Durrance.
