Ronald Ervin Clark, 77, departed this earthly home on Thursday evening Sept. 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and went to his heavenly father.

A memorial service will be Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church.  The family will host a visitation for friends and family beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Clark was born in Florence, SC the son of the late C.B. and Ernestine Hubbard Clark.

He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and recently attended Lake Swamp Baptist Church.  Ronnie was a Quality Control Supervisor with Dixie Cup until he retired. Ronnie Clark was an avid outdoorsman spending his entire adult life pursuing the outdoors. He hunted black bear earlier in life, but it was the sound of a whitetail out in front of his dogs that he loved the most. Ronnie was a lifelong "dog man" with dogs named affectionately like "Pee Wee", "Old Man", "Josh", "Ruger", "Callie", "Cuddles" and one of his best "Little Ike". He went by the call sign "Mountain Man" on his C.B. Radio. When he couldn't turn the dogs loose it was time to fish, and that is something that he truly enjoyed. In fact there should be a rise in the bream population now that Ronnie is in Heaven.

Ronnie lived a simple life, never in want or need for much, but full of generosity. Although Ronnie never had any biological children, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Francis "BJ" Clark. He was also loved and adored by his nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews who loved him affectionately as "Uncle Ronnie".

He was the best big brother and never quit checking on his little sisters whom he loved dearly. Surviving are two sisters, Sandra Best, and Gwen (David) Bryant and a grand-daughter, Jessica (Austin) Jordan.  The family is looking forward to a reunion someday in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
