Timmonsville, SC – Roger D. Freeman, 64, died Sunday April 9, 2017 in a Florence hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Mr. Freeman was born in Florence County, the son of Evelyn Jeffords Hanna and the late Wayne L. Freeman. He was the manager of several restaurants in the Pee Dee and the Grand Stand.

Surviving are; his mother of Timmonsville; two daughters, Rachel F (Jamie) Long, Aprille F. Harvey all of Lexington; three sisters, Cheryl F. (Henry "Bo") Amerson, Kim F. (Greg) Hyman all of Timmonsville, Karen F. (Lonnie) Welch, Florence; five grandchildren, Christian, Zach, Caleb, Delaney and Luke. He is preceded in death by a brother, Mark Wayne Freeman.
