Florence, SC – Roger Allen Floyd, 57, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

A memorial service will be Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Roger was born in Florence County, the son of Faye Thigpen Floyd and the late Jack Floyd. He was a trade carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Renee Coker Floyd.

Surviving are his mother, a son, Josh (Brandy) Floyd; daughter, Carmen Nicole Floyd; three brothers, Ricky Floyd, Caleb (Jessica) Floyd, Robert "Bubba" (Jamie) Floyd; two sisters, Cindy (Danny) Morgan, Benda Powers and his grandchildren, Jaidyn Floyd,Sabastian Coker, Savannah Richards, Christian Richards and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Rayford Floyd.
