Timmonsville - Rodney Darrell Weaver, 66, died in a local hospital on Saturday evening, June 18, 2016, with his family at his side.

A graveside service will be Monday, June 20, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Timmonsville. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Weaver was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Charlie Ham and Sudie Freeman Weaver. He grew up in the Lake Swamp Community and was a retired farmer. Rodney was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard.

Surviving are his wife Becky Andrews Weaver, Timmonsville; two sons, Stacy (Michelle) Weaver,Timmonsville, Landon (Stacie) Weaver, Blythewood; a sister, Susan (Mitchell) Sansbury, Florence; three brothers, Wendell (Sue) Weaver Timmonsville, Wayne (Nelia) Weaver, Lamar, Chandler (Judy) Weaver, Darlington; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Chandler, Aleks, Carstin, Rylan, Eli, Kameron and Jaxson; special friends, Randy and Debra Campbell and their daughter, Maddie. He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Weaver.
