Mr. Robert E. Kirven, Sr, 82, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Born in Darlington County, SC, he was a son of the late Reese Otto Kirven and the late Fannie Bell Holloway Kirven. He was the owner and operator of Superior Business Machines which he operated until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lampley Kirven; son, Robert E. Kirven, Jr. (Holly); daughter, Margaret Carter (Alan); brothers, Charles A. Kirven, Alvin Kirven; special sister-in-law, Rae Kirven; grandchildren, Tammy Rodes (Russell), Victor Haithcock, Vanessa Carter (Mark), Robert R. Kirven, Jr.; bonus children, Jeffrey Kirby (Regina), Lynette Rion (Gerald); 4 bonus grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Reese Kirven, Jack C. Kirven, Paul L. Kirven, Reese Otto Kirven, Jr., granddaughter, Amber Strutkowski; sister-in-law, Joyce Kirven.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025. in the Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.
