Florence - Robert "Bobby" Acy Williamson, 47 died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Friday evening, June 10, 2016.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Williamson Family Cemetery, 4401 Miles Road, Florence. Visitation will be Monday evening at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00.

Born in Whiteville, North Carolina, Bobby was the son of Robert L and Ila Todd Williamson. He was a logger with McClam Logging Company. He was a member of the National Guard.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sonya Lamb Williamson, Florence; three daughters, Ashley (T.J.) McKay, Effingham, Becky (Ken) Watts, Florence, Christy (Kitty) Arnette, Dillon; two brothers, George Williamson, Alan Williamson both of Florence; sisters, Ellen (Jerry Wayne) Phillips, Crystal (Bruce) Roberts, Florence and grandchildren, Evan, Emalee, Mady, Jace, Cassi and Tobi.
