Lamar, SC- Rickey Arnold Joye, 74, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Timmonsville.  The family will speak to those attending  after the service.  There will be a time for signing the guestbook and viewing during regular business hours at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Joye was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Edward Blease and Mattie Henrietta Watford Joye.  He worked as a Mechanic for several Car dealerships in the Pee Dee and also owned a pressure washing business for many years. He enjoyed fishing, working outdoors and he loved to dance.

Surviving are; a son, Richie Joye; daughter, Jackie Joye (Andrew) Hyatt; brother, Rev. Carroll Joye; sister, Nelia Weaver; his grandchild, Carter Hyatt and many nieces and nephews.  He also leaves his faithful canine companion, "Rambo".

Rickey is preceded in death by a brother, Horace Edward Joye.
