Richard Player, 60, passed away on April 24, 2024 in a local Hospice Facility in Florence, SC.

Graveside services will be Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cemetery in Timmonsville.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home before the service.

Mr. Player was born in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Franklin Player and the late Geraldine Campbell Player.  He was an auto mechanic.

Survivors are his son Trey (Kaycie) Player; brothers, Danny Player, Dondi (Stephanie) Campbell; Fiance', Andrea Lawson and a host of nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by brothers, Michael Player and Timothy Player.

The family will be at the home of Stephanie and Dondi Campbell, 634 Lamar Hwy, Timmonsville, SC at other times.
