William H. Justice, Jr, peacefully went into the arms of his Lord and Savior, for whom he has served for 43 years, on Tuesday morning, August 6, 2024.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 9, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Community Free Will Baptist Church, where he has been serving for 31 years.  The family will have a time of Visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the church before the service.  A private burial will take place at a later time.

Mr. Justice was born in Rock Hill, SC, the son of the late William Henry, Sr. and Beatrice Helen Sawyer Justice.  He received his education at Beaver Creek Free Will Bible Institute.  After graduation, his service began at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church, Bostic, NC. His next call was to Mt Holly Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Holly, following that call he went to Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and for the last Thirty-One years he has been serving and growing at Community Free Will Baptist Church in Florence, SC. His outreach was more than his church family but to the surrounding community for his service and meeting the needs of struggling in many ways. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He taught his children to love the Lord and each other. The many kind things that he did for people will never be known.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Devonda Swofford Justice; two daughters, Amie (Stan) Allen, Olivia Justice; sisters Patricia "Pat" (Jim) Alred, Cheryl (Buddy) Williams; grandchildren, Tyler McKimmey, Madison McKimmey Dawson McKimmey, Josie  Justice.  William is preceded in death by an infant son, and a brother, Charles Justice.
