Timmonsville, SC – Rebecca Timmons Alexander, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will have a time of visitation Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Rebecca was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late John Morgan and Fannie Sims Timmons.  She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.  Rebecca worked for Hudgens Academy and later Church Secretary at Sardis Baptist Church.

Rebecca was married to the late Joseph "Joe" Alexander, who passed away in 2011.

Surviving are sons, Wayne Alexander, Tony (Tommy Jean) Alexander; daughters, Wanda Kelly, Becky (Dann) Lay, daughter-in-law, Robin Alexander; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by a son, Joey Alexander and daughter-in-law Robin Munn Alexander and her sister, Syble T. Langston.
