William Ray Johnson, Jr.

Florence- William Ray "Duke" Johnson, Jr, 28, died on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from injuries received in an auto accident.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence. Interment will follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m..

Mr. Johnson was born in Florence County. Ray was employed with Scott's Fence and Iron Installers.

Surviving are his mother, Kathy Morris and step-father, Jay Young of Timmonsville; three sons, Daniel Clayton Johnson, Anthony Trey Johnson and William Gabriel "LeLe" Johnson; four brothers, Alan Justin Johnson, Timmonsville, Luther "Jason" Waldon Young,III, Jamie Percy Webb both of Florence, Raymond Lee Johnson, Florida and a sister, Kristin Taylor, Florence. At the time of his accident, Mr. Johnson's loving companion Krystal, died in the accident.
