Randy O. Sansbury, 74, went to his eternal home on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon at First Free Will Baptist Church, Florence.  Burial will be at Florence National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.  The family will have visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. before the service at the church.

Mr. Sansbury was born in Florence County, the son of the late Alfred Sansbury, Sr. and the late Helen Lee Pierce.  He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed fellowship in different activities of the church.  He served his country in the US Air Force.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Elida Maria "Liddy" S. Sansbury; sister, Mary Lee (Charles) Windham, brother, Corby Pierce; special grandchildren, Kacie (Richard) Batchelor, Whitney (T.J.) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kaley Batchelor, Alexa Johnson, Aden Johnson, Austin Johnson and Ansley Johnson.  He is preceded in death by brothers, Cecil Sansbury and Al Sansbury.

The family would like to thank the Agape Hospice of Florence, along with the Veterans Affair Clinic for the assistance and guidance that was provided through this transition. Also our friends, there are so many but, you know who you are, especially our Nurse, Kristen Martin and our wonderful helpers, Meredith Strickland and Catrice.
