Sumter, SC – Ralph L. Washburn, 89, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. A graveside service with Military Honors, will be officiated by the Reverend Doctor Rusty Wilson at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Tabernacle Cemetery in Lynchburg, SC. Ralph was born in Gouverneur, New York, the son of the late Louis and Lottie Washburn. He retired from the US Air Force. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Kathleen Wilson Washburn; a daughter, Jacqueline Lewis, Willis, Texas; son, Tim (Lynn) Washburn, New Carlisle, Ohio; step-daughter, Anita Watford, Timmonsville; step-son, Kent (Anne) Tyler, Sumter; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
