Robert Hence Seals, 78 of Timmonsville, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

The family will receive guests for a visitation Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Cynthia Lawson.  A memorial service will be at a later time in his home State of Tennessee.

Mr. Seals was born in Meigs County, Tennessee, the son of the late Mack and Helen Nelson Seals. He attended elementary and high school at Calhoun where he excelled in basketball and baseball.  After finishing school he went to work at the Paper Mill.  His job  began in Tennessee, then to Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Germany before retiring in South Carolina.

Surviving are; his daughter-in-law, Cynthia Lawson, brothers, Glenn Seals, Wayne Seals; sisters, Shirley Moore, Lavada (David) Allen; step-grandson, James "Shelton" Cooper; a granddaughter, Cherisse (Steven) Thayer; great-grandchildren, Katlin, Madison and Marley Cooper, Micah, Luke and Eva Jane Thayer.   He was a preceded in death by his wife, Roma Streety Seals; daughter, Misty Seals; son, Mark Lawson; brothers, Jim, Gene, Maxie, Russell and Jerry Seals and sister, Mary Ruth Ingram, and several nieces.

The family would like to Thank the Staff of McLeod Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Mr. Seals during this time.
