Phyllis Ann Vause entered into her heavenly home on January 23, 2026. Phyllis was born in Mt. Pleasant, NC to Robert and Ruby Bost.

Phyllis worked for many years as a supervisor in the textile industry.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Ike Vause; her daughter Lisa Scearce (David); her sister Betty Earnhart (Jimmy); her brother Donald Bost (Shelly); granddaughter Brittany Plott (Adam); along with great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and many special friends.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were sisters Ruby Mae Bost and Evelyn Clawson, and her brother Robert Bost.

The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care provided by Agape Hospice.  Also, the family would like to give a huge thank you to friends and neighbors Nate and Brittany Hanie and to her step-daughter Itaska Walker.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday January 30, 2026 in Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
