Enoch Pendleton "Penn" Rogers, 83, left this earthly life to gain his place in the presence of his Lord and Savior on October 10, 2025. A memorial service for Penn will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 12:00 noon with visitation at 11:00 a.m. at Pisgah Methodist Church.
Penn was born in Mullins, S.C., the son of Everett P. Rogers and Ilene King Rogers. He grew up in the Fork Community of Dillon County, S.C. and graduated from Lake View High School. He was a graduate of Clemson College (now Clemson University.) After graduation, he worked for Clemson Extension Service, Farmers Home Administration, and Farm Service Agency. In his retirement, Penn served on the Board of Directors of South Carolina Rural Rehabilitation Corporation for 16 years.
In retirement, Penn was an active member of several different churches and was also an active member for Cooks for Christ for 15 years. He spent many years working with the volunteers and families of Christmas in April.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Ree Johnson Rogers (Rose Marie), two sons, Brett Edward Rogers (Renee), and Thad Everett Rogers (Jennifer). Also surviving are Penn and Ree's grandchildren, Allie Rogers, Katie Rogers (Nate Fields), Hannah Grace Rogers (Logan Sisco), Ethan Pendleton Rogers, Krystal Rogers, and Toni Rotan (Ashton). Penn was a loving great grandfather to Sawyer McKnight and Grayson Rotan. Penn is also survived by one brother, Ebbie Hoyt Rogers (Pat) and brothers-in-law, Ben Page and James Page. Penn will be greatly missed by his family and the many people whose lives he touched.
Penn was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Tommie Eleanor Rogers Page and Dannie Carole Rogers Page.
