Darlington, SC- Peggy Price Prince, 80, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 21, 2018 peacefully with her family at her side.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be after the service until 6:00 p.m.  Interment will be held at a later time.

Peggy was born in Duplin County, North Carolina the daughter of the late Lewis and Maggie Davenport Price.  She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist of Florence for more than 50 years.  For many years, she was a childcare provider, including three decades in the ministry of Maranatha Christian School daycare.  Her life revolved around loving God and loving others, particularly her family and her church family.  If she knew you, she loved you, and you could not help but love her in return.

Surviving are her husband Robert "Bobby" Prince;  three sons, Rick (Tamra) Rasberry, Richard Rasberry and Susan Gause, Chris (Natalee) Prince; two daughters, Lori R. (Randall) King, Dawn R.(Michael) Woodall; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Maranatha  Christian School or to the church, 2624 W. Palmetto Street, Florence, SC  29501
