Florence, SC – Peggy Rumple Josey Brockington, 80 passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022.

A time of visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Peggy was born in Statesville, NC, the daughter of the late Glenn and Sallie Pilcher Rumple.  She was retired from the Carolina Hospital System with over 30 years of service  as an Insurance Filing and Discharge secretary.

Surviving are two sons, Mark (Suzan) Josey, Darrin Josey; daughter, Robin (Melvin) Allen; brothers, Tommy (Brenda) Rumple, Roger Rumple; and her grandchildren, Serena (Zane) Hayes, Alita Josey.  She is preceded in death by brother, Terry Rumple, Willie "Bill" Pilcher, sister, Helen Boyles.
