Pearl S. Kelly

Florence- Pearl Small Kelly, 81, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 .

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Thursday from  6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Hickory, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Hazel and Helen Kirby Small.  She was a seamstress for Sherman Mfg. Co. before she retired.  She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and  attends Tans Bay Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Willard R. Kelly; three daughters, Vicky (Preston) Gee, Kim (Gregg) Jewell, Connie Joyner; a brother, Perry "Squeaky" Small; sister, Sylvia Blackmon; six grandchildren,Preston L. Gee, IV, Kelly R. Gee, Amber D. Joyner, Daniel R. Joyner, II, Kasey K. Godwin, Ricky V. Kelly, Jr. and eight great-grandchildren and her beloved canine companion, "Hannah Jane".   She is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Kelly, brother, Jimmy Small, sisters, Gloria Delores Bradshaw and Evon "Eva"Cagle.

Memorials may be made to Tans Bay Baptist Church, 3919 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC  29505.
