Timmonsville- Patsy Hill Yarborough, 82, died Friday April 7, 2017 in a local hospice facility.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mrs. Yarborough was born in Florence county, the daughter of the late Jesse Gaston, Sr. and Mary Lilla Horne Hill. She attended Cartersville Baptist Church. She retired from the Darlington Raceway as secretary in the Ticket Office. Patsy was a master Gardener. She loved working in her yard and garden, sharing the bounty with family, friends and neighbors. She was constantly looking out for the needs of others.

Surviving are; her husband of sixty-three years, Sammie L. Yarborough, Timmonsville; a daughter, Cindy (David) Truluck, Timmonsville; a son, Craig (Renee) Yarborough, Sardis; a brother, Jesse (Harriet) Hill, Timmonsville; and her loving grandchildren, Lansing (Wesley) Yarborough, Gene (Jenna) Truluck, Brett Truluck, and Noah Truluck, her great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Hill and a sister, Mary Sue Barringer.
