Timmonsville, SC – Pleasant John  "P.J." Isgett, Jr, 70, went to his heavenly home on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville, SC.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service.

"P.J." was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Pleasant J. and Ola Blue Isgett.

He was married to the late Diane Pierce Isgett, who was his wife for 49 years.

He was a member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church.  Before retiring, "P. J." was a member of the Darlington County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff.  He was the owner of PCI  Gunsmithing.

Surviving are his son, Christopher (Stephanie) Isgett; four sisters, Olivia Purvis, Sylvia Eslinger, Hellen Weatherford, Nella Roberts and his grandchildren, Christopher "CJ" Isgett, Justyn Flowers, Maycin Flowers and Jayson Flowers.

He was preceded in death by a son Eddie Isgett.
