Florence, SC – Olin E.  "Cowboy" Dorrell, Jr. 75, passed away Wednesday, April  29, 2020.

A private service will take place at Bethany Cemetery in Timmonsville.

Mr. Dorrell was born in Valdosta Georgia, the son of the late Olin E., Sr. and Thelma Tedder Dorrell.  He worked for DuPont for thirty five years before retiring.  He was the owner of Dorrell Motors in Effingham for many years.  Olin was a member of Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church.

He was first married to the late Patrician Hewitt Dorrell then, the late Georgia Poston Dorrell.

Surviving are a son, Chris (Krista) Dorrell; daughter, Jewell (Chris) Langston, step-daughter, Keri Thompson; brother, Dillon (Jenny) Dorrell and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Patti Langston,  step-daughter, Kristy Lee.
