Obituary

With deep love, the family of Noah Alexander Goins announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the age of 22. He was born on November 24, 2003, in Lexington, KY.

Noah graduated from West Florence High School and served his community as a Junior Firefighter with the West Florence Fire Department. Noah had a love for fencing from a young age and won several medals with his fencing club in Lexington, KY. After moving to South Carolina, Noah’s passion turned to football, and he enjoyed playing throughout middle school and high school.

When you saw Noah, he was usually listening to music; it brought him a sense of calm, even as a child. Noah had a fun-loving spirit and a heart of gold. To meet Noah was to meet a friend because he never met a stranger. Noah will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends, as well as his beloved fur baby, “Doobie.” Noah’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his mother, Robin Denise Spencer Goins; father and stepmother, John William Goins IV and Natalie Jean Goins; sister, Abigail Elizabeth Denise Goins; brother, Ryan Keith Edward Hunt; maternal grandmother, Christine Spencer; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Elizabeth Goins; step-siblings, Deandra Cleveland (Allen), Andrew Sedillos (Stefanie), and Manuel Sedillos (Stephany); four nephews; three nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service to honor his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
