Florence, SC – Navassa Jones Chichester, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Byrd Cemetery Timmonsville, SC.   The family will speak to those attending after the service. Social distancing will be observed.

Navassa was born in Dillion County, the daughter of the late Burrell Justin and Effie Love Jones.   She retired from La-Z Boy as a Quality Control inspector.

Navassa was a member of Timmonsville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are two sons, Danny (Melinda) Haithcock, Richard Haithcock;  her Fiance' Karl Jacobs; two brothers, Bobby Jones, Aaron Gandy; four sisters, Elizabeth Strickland, Katie Toler, Jennie (Bobby) Montrose, Frances (Gene) Foxworth; seven grandchildren, Josh (Maggie) Haithcock, Zack Haithcock, Christian Haithcock, Vanessa (Mark) Carter,Tammy (Russell) Rodes, Victor "Bubba" Haithcock, Ricky Haithcock, and a special niece, Tammy (Mike) Driggers.  She is preceded in death by a son, Victor Haithcock, husband, Clinton "Chuck" Chichester, three brothers and 6 sisters.
