Mrs. Naoma Marie Geist Lowe, 90, entered into rest on Friday, February 20, 2026.
Born in Penalosa, KS, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Franklin Geist and the late Mildred Marie VanRiper. She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. Her faith was very important to her as she had taken many mission trips in the U.S. and abroad with her late husband, Donald. The two of them were also involved in mission efforts through The Salvation Army over the years. She enjoyed gardening and taking sailboat trips. Naoma was very hospitable and always made others feel welcome. She loved her family and her grandchildren brought her great joy.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Lowe (Brenda), Phillip Lowe (Ashley), Steven Lowe (Ann); daughter, Susan Thompson (Thadis, Jr.); grandchildren, David Lowe, Jr. (Audra), Daniel Lowe (Trysti), Deanna Torres (Eric), Derek Lowe (Lexi), Kristen Lowe, Hunter Lowe (Kara Ann), Drake Lowe (Kate), Abby Thompson, Ross Thompson, Sean Fogner, Chris Fogner (Amanda), Morgan Magee (George), Eli Fogner, Robert Thompson (Brittney); 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lowe; brother, LaRay Edward Geist (Ginger); sister, Wilberta Mae Webb (Gary).

A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel. Dr. Bill Monroe will officiate with burial to follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.
