Florence, SC – Nadine Oakley Morris, 81, passed away on Friday, Oct.15, 2021.

Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the mausoleum chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens.  Entombment will follow.  The family will have a time of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Bernice Conyers Oakley.  She was a member of Piney Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.   She enjoyed spending time with her family.  For a short time she worked in a local greenhouse nursey.  Nadine enjoyed cleaning houses for many throughout the city.

She was married to the late James "Dink" Morris.

Surviving are sons, Earl (Jennifer) Morris, James Morris; three daughters, Polly (Steve) Smoak, Eunice (Garry) Jones, Temple Morris; brother, Don (Angie) Oakley; sister, Naomi Evans; 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild..

Nadine is preceded in death by a son, Dennis Morris, daughters, Janice Morris, Jennette Chappell and two grandchildren, Chris Chappell and William Mayo.
