Timmonsville, SC – Myrtle Lee Watford, 93, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the McLeod Hospice House with her family at her side.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at The Assembly Church on West Palmetto Street, Florence. Interment will follow at the Lamar Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Myrtle was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Emmett L and Sadie Gibson Bryant. She was a member of The Assembly Church.

Myrtle was married to the late Eugene Frank "Pete" Watford.

Surviving are a son, Frank (Carol) Watford; a daughter, Brenda (Harvey) Campbell; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Watford; eight grandchildren, Lyna Munn, Gene Watford, Melonie Lee, Lisa Campbell, Rusty Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Timmy Watford, Vicki Joye; nineteen (19) great- grandchildren and twenty-five (25) great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Larry E. Watford; two brothers, James and E.L. Bryant, three sisters, Elizabeth Flowers, Emmie Byrd, Lillian Strickland and a great grandchild, Dana Michelle Weaver.
