Murray Gainey, 68, passed away on June 25, 2025 after an illness.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville, SC.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.Mr. Gainey was born in Hartsville, SC, the son of Marion and Martha Ann Powers Gainey.  He was a loving brother and uncle to his family.

Surviving are two brothers, Marion Gainey, Wade Powers and three sisters, Jennifer Floyd, Sheila Goff, and Linda Yarborough; a number  nieces and nephews.
