Obituary

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Morghan Noel Gore, 30, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, Monday, April 28, 2025.

Morghan was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Florence, South Carolina. While Morghan left us far too soon, the impact she left will be felt for many years to come. She had a compassionate soul and was known for her infectious laugh and ability to light up any room that she stepped into. She never meet a stranger.

The daughter of Michelle Gibbs Powers and Eddie Leon Davis.

Surviving is her daughter, Lydia Rose Gore; Thayer Gore father of their daughter parents; Stepfather Tracy Powers and Stepmother Rachel McKenzie; sister, Heather Michyel Buie (Jeremy Buie, brother-in-law); brother, Nicholas Shane Davis (Jessica); grandparents, Janice Gibbs and Rachel Clark; Special Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Neice and Nephews whom she loved dearly. Also surviving her is her fiancé, Tyler Watford who was also in the accident.

She was employed at Niagara Bottling Plant in Florence SC. Where she was welcomed to the Niagara family that loved and treated Morghan as if she were family.

To honor Morghan visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home in Timmonsville SC, followed by a Graveside Service at 4:00 P.M. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence SC.

Special Thanks to Niagara Bottling Company, Clarendon County and Layton Anderson Funeral Home for their love and support to the family during this difficult time.
