Timmonsville, SC – J. Mitchell  Sansbury,66, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 in a Charleston hospital.

A funeral service will be Friday, March 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. The family will speak to those attending after the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

He was the son of the late Jerrel & Elinor Jordan Sansbury.  Mitchell was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church.  He worked with CSX railroad as a Train Engineer.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Susan Weaver Sansbury; a sister, Donna (Fripp) Ducker; a nephew, Will Benton.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Carey Lee Sansbury.
