Timmonsville- William Mitchell Carter, Jr, 21, died Monday, June 29, 2015 from injuries in a logging accident.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Unity Christian Fellowship, Timmonsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.

Mitch was born in Florence County, the son of William Mitchell Carter, Sr and Cindy Parrott Carter of Timmonsville. He was a logger with the Carter Brothers Logging Company. He attended Unity Christian Fellowship.

Surviving are his parents of Timmonsville; two brothers, Jacob Carter and Dillon Carter of the home in Timmonsville; maternal grandparents, Paul and Hazel Parrott and paternal grandmother,Angela C. Carter all of Timmonsville; a special friend and companion, Jamie Wiggins and many extended family members.
