Timmonsville, SC  - Miriam Frances Wilson McKoone, 76, passed away peacefully at MUSC Florence on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021.

Graveside memorial services will be Friday, Oct 15,2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Byrd Cemetery, 100 Layton Drive, Timmonsville, SC.  Social distancing will be observed.

Miriam was born in Timmonsville, the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Floyd Wilson. Miriam was a talented hairdresser and worked at The Bethea Home in Darlington a good portion of her life.  Miriam loved life.  She loved her family and friends deeply. She had a very loving heart for people in general.  She had a deep love for animals and  always made sure she had a few to love around her.  She enjoyed crafts, sewing and making wreaths.  She had a love for spotting favorite flowers in abandoned places and transplanting them at her home.

She was married to the late Sam McKoone.

The statement most shared about Miriam was that she always smiling and so appreciative of kindness shown to her.

The family would like to THANK  the staff of Johnsonville Assisted Living, Southland Healthcare Center, MUSC-Florence and Agape Hospice  for the excellent care and compassion shown to her.
