Timmonsville, SC - Minnie Nez Hatcher Shirley, 85, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 after an illness.

A graveside service will be Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will speak to those attending after the service at the cemetery and at other times at her residence.

Mrs. Shirley was born in Seneca, SC, the daughter of the late Furman and Edna Duncan Hatcher. She was retired from General Electric where she worked in Quality Control. She was also employed with Miriams Tax Service.

Minnie was married to the late Harold J. Shirley.

Surviving are three sons, Ken (Crysti) Shirley, Mike (Lori) Shirley all of Florence, Tim (Donna) Shirley, Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter, Faye S. Christmas, Florence; two brothers, Ray (Belinda) Hatcher, Charles (Joan) Hatcher; three sisters, Billie Burdette, Jeanette (Jerry) Marlowe, Grace Barefoot; grandchildren, Kayla, Jenny, Lance, Trent, Chad, Promise, Dakota, Angel, Christy, Travis, Kimberly, Hannah, Cody, Kimmie, Brian, Shannon, and Emmy and a number of great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Danny R. Shirley,a grandson Michael and a brother, John Hatcher.
