Timmonsville, SC- Mildred Newham Schleucher, 89, passed away Feb 5,2018 in a Florence hospital after a brief illness.

The family will have a time of reflection and visitatin beginnng at 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening February 9, 2018 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mildred was born in Miami, Florida, the daughter of the late Eugene Gibson and Annie Mae McKenney Newham. She attended Timmonsville First Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Jim (Suzan) Hughes, Rick (Ginny) Murphy; one daughter, Brenda Kight; one sister, Louise Mitchell; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
