Florence, SC – Mildred Avato Peters, 92, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Due  to unforeseen circumstances the funeral services have been canceled at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later time.

Mrs. Peters was born in Patterson, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Frank Avato and Mary Kuhn.   She was a meat wrapper in a local food market in New Jersey before retiring and moving to South Carolina.  Mildred attended Community Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors are a son, Todd Peters; two daughters, Sandra Lis and Cynthia Forsyth; sister, Eileen Avato and eleven (11) grandchildren and fifteen (15) great-grandchildren.
