Florence, SC – Jimmie Mitchell "Mickey" Lloyd, 69, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation immediately following the service for one hour. A private burial will be held at the National Cemetery.

Pastor Lloyd was born in Lamar, SC, the son of the late Maxie Etson and Gladys Walters Lloyd. He served his country in the US Army. Mickey served in several churches while in the ministry. His last church was Oates Baptist Church.

Surviving are his children, Michael (Jennifer) Lloyd and Lisa (Gary) Michell; two brothers, Maxie C. Lloyd, Marshall Lloyd, two sisters, Sarah Lloyd, Faye Stalvey and his five Grandchildren, Luke Christine Lloyd, Logan Mitchell Lloyd, James Dallas Conner, Carolyn Conner, Sydney Conner. He is preceded in death by brothers, Olin Lloyd, Richard Lloyd, Cecil Lloyd.
