Michele Lynn Mount, 51, entered into rest on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Born in Poughkeepsie NY, she was the daughter of the late Kevin Patrick Mount and Donna DeLucca Mount.

Michele was an avid fan of rock music with Def Leppard being her favorite band of choice. She saw the band perform over 20 times. She enjoyed watching the NJ Jets and Carolina Hurricanes play and reading in her spare time. She loved her fur babies and her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. If you were fortunate enough to have Michele is your life, you would know a love like no other because there was no one else like her.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Kevin Mount (Kim), Andrew Mount; sisters, Maria Mount-Whalley (Kris), Angela Sansbury (Stephen), Elaina Shumard (Paul), nieces and nephews, Louise, Matthew, Anthony, Kevin, Orion, Athena, Landon, Savannah, Charlotte, Lilly.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18th, 2026, in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.
