Michael Anthony Lane, 78, passed away in a local hospital facility on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Mr. Lane was born in Brighton, England: the son of the late Fred and Jean (Rhodes) Lane.

His interests included world travel, dancing, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, skiing and snowmobiling, cooking for and spending time wit his beloved family and friends. He was involved with the Lions Club, Elks Club and the Moose Lodge.  He was honored as Volunteer of the Year, after ten years of service at the Honda Classic.  He cherished spending time with his family and friends in England, Wisconsin, Florida, and at his house on Lake Marion here at Santee.

Mourning his loss are many family, bonus family and friends, including: his love, Joy Price Lane; children and bonus children: Helen Lane, Sarah Lane, Pamela Wagner, Whitney (Jonathan) Wilke, Taylor (Caleb) Martin; brother, John Lane; sister, Mary (Bob) Baldwin; grandchildren and bonus grandchildren: Olivia, Thomas, Jaylyn, Ansley, Sullivan, Stetson; nephew, Alistair and niece, Nicola. Preceded in death by bonus son, Stephen (Sarah) Boulden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time, announced by the family.
