Michael Kelly Brown, 80, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial gathering at the family home that will be held on November 23, 2024.

Michael was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, the son of the late Julius Kelly Brown and the late Mary Voncile Hall Brown.  He worked at Vulcraft and So-Car Steel Mill as a Supervisor.

He attended First Baptist Church of Timmonsville.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Judy Davenport Brown; son, Jimmy Brown and a grandson who he raised as a son, Matthew Bell; daughters, Monique Holloran, Dawn Young, Tina Dorn; brother, Randolph (Susie) Brown; sisters, Sybil Raines, Jane Hanna; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by two sons, Tony and Keith, daughter, Carolyn Denette, brother, Charles Brown and sisters, Frances Powers, Edith King.
