Melvena Willis Hardee, 89, passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on Monday, April 8, 2024.

A funeral service will be Friday, April 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Florence, SC.

Mrs. Hardee was born in Kershaw County, the daughter of the late Otis C. and Elizabeth  Mosely Willis.  She enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Melvena was married to the late Edward Hardee who passed away in 2021.

Surviving are; her daughter, Karen Frazier; son, Richard (Sally) Hardee; brother, James (Debra) Willis; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Matthews.

The family will have a time of food and fellowship after the service at Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church following the service.
