Florence, SC – Mary Ard Burr Tyler, peacefully ascended into Heaven, at her at home surrounded by her loving children on Thursday, August 9, 2018.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Gospel Temple.Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Mary was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Muldrow and Bernardine Cox Ard. Mary has three siblings: Linda (Dave) Odom, Glenn (Harriet) Ard, Russell Ard. She is preceded in death a brother, Edward Ard.

Mary was a woman of GOD, with a servants heart. She was gentle, nurturing and faithful. She attended Crusade for Christ Mission in Florence and was always devoting her time to the call of Christ by loving and serving others. Her life is measured by the love and kindness that she shared with all. The joy of her life was loving and being loved by her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lee Burr and husband, John Joseph Tyler Sr,. Mary has four children, Shannon (Jonathan) Chandler, Brandon (Mandy) Burr, Mandelyn (Jeff) Davis and Amy (Weston) Jordan; one step-son, John Joseph (Amy) Tyler, Jr; ten grandchildren, Madison Tyler, Devan Tyler, Ethan Tyler, Curt Burr, Carter Burr,Mandelyn Grace Davis, John Alton Chandler, Atticus Jordan, Miles Davis, Cecilia Jordan.
