Mary Eileene Singletary Thomas, 84, entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Eileene was born in Florence, SC to the late Fenrick R. and Myrtle Kea Singletary. She faithfully attended church and was a teacher for many years. Her faith in God was strong, and she loved to play piano at church. Her relationships were important as she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great-grandson, James.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jamie Thomas: daughters, Laurie J. Caulford (Paul), Leah Marie Thomas; grandchildren, Cameron Thomas, Cayla Thomas; great-grandson, James Alexander Villalobos-Thomas; nephew, David Campbell (Lynda); niece, Susanne Windham (Howard); great-niece, Kristi Moody (Matt).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Laurie Pate.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Grace Baptist Church with Pastor John Collins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
