Mary Joyner Pierce, 91, was re-united with her loved ones on Wednesday morning, April 9, 2025, as she closed her eyes in this earthly chapter and opened them in her new heavenly journey.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will have a time of visitation after the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

Mrs. Pierce was born in Valdosta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Elijah Will and Lillian Morris Joyner McGee.  She was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fellowship with her Sunday School Class and special events of the church.  She retired as a Supervisor at Turner Mfg. and Florence Mfg.  She enjoyed sewing and alterations, and  working in her yards with her beautiful flowers

Mary was married to the late Harold Pierce.

Surviving are her nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, A.W. Joyner, Richard Joyner, LeRoy Joyner and sister, Martha Joyner Broach.
