Mary Sue Howard

Timmonsville, SC – Mary Sue McLaughlin Howard, 82, passed away on Sunday October 21, 2018 with her family at her side.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mary Sue was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late John Zeke and Jenny Lee McLaughlin.  She was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  She was a loving Mother,Grandmother and friend to all that knew her.

She was married to the late Ray Allen Howard.

Surviving are two sons, John R. Howard, Gary Allen (Pam) Howard; three grandchildren, Zackary (Abigail) Howard, Jeremy Howard, Malaki Howard and two great-grandchildren, Zackary Howard,II, and Hayden Howard.  She was preceded in death by a brother, John Woods McLaughlin and a sister, Eleanor McLaughlin Boggs.
