Suwanee, GA .- Mary Alexander Jensen, 83, formerly of Timmonsville, SC. passed away on Jan. 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will speak to those attending in the fellowship hall of the church after the service.

Mrs. Jensen was born in Timmonsville, SC, the daughter of the late Lee and Edith Langston Alexander. She was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church. For many years she served faithfully as a children's Sunday School teacher. Before retiring she worked as a receptionist with different offices in Florence County. She was one of the founding members of the Sparrow Swamp Garden Club.

She was married to the late Dale Jensen, who passed away in January, 2016.

Surviving are a son, Michael (Teressa) Jensen; a daughter, Karen (Wayne) Kirby and her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dustin) White, Jeff Kirby, Daniel Jensen, Joseph Jensen and two great - grandchildren, Liam, and Hayden White. She is preceded in death by a grandson Joel Kirby. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Memory Care, C/O Arbor Terrace Johns Creek Music Therapy for End of Life.
