Marvin Pierce, Jr.

Timmonsville, SC- Marvin Marshall Pierce, Jr. 65, passed away on July 17, 2019.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:30 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence.  Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Florence at 1:00 p.m. The family will have a time of visitation from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Marvin was born in Timmonsville, SC, the son of the late Marvin Sr., and Roberta Matthews Pierce.  He served his country in the US Army.  He was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Jeris (Richard) Burnell; three brothers, Jerry (Jane) Pierce, Phil (Dorothy) Pierce, Allen Pierce and his nieces and nephews.
